Why choose a Licensed Acupuncturist

We strive to educate our patients that acupuncture just isn't about healing the local area where pain is located, but acupuncture is about whole body balance, and choosing the right acupuncturist for you is important.

At Point Balance Acupuncture, we believe that acupuncturists and Oriental Medicine practitioners with a doctorate or a master's degree in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine are by far the most sophisticatedly trained acupuncturists and Asian Medicine practitioners in the United States. No other profession has learned to use acupuncture needles and acupuncture points in the manner a licensed acupuncturist uses them. It takes years of education and clinical experience to be an expert in this field.

Acupuncturists are safer, cause less pain, are more effective, are more skilled, and are required to keep their medical license up to date in the states where they practice.

Every licensed acupuncturist is also required to complete at least 2,000 hours of education and 1,400 hours of clinical experience. That's why your best results with acupuncture will come with seeing a licensed Acupuncturist over any other certified acupuncture or dry needling therapist. Not sure if your acupuncturist is licensed? Ask them. Do not accepted anything less than the best.

Contact us to see if acupuncture will work for you. We look forward to helping you achieve a more pain free life.
