Kathleen is the owner and clinic director at Point Balance Acupuncture. She received her doctorate degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She has a Master's of Science degree in Acupuncture from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, Colorado. She is a Diplomat of Acupuncture and is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed to practice acupuncture in the state of Colorado.
Kathleen is trained in electro-acupuncture medicine for neuro-muscular pain, natural integrated injection therapies for pain and joint issues, and is certified by Dr. Andrew Rosenfarb who has treated degenerative eye conditions for over 15 years with great success. Dr. Rosenfarb has taught Kathleen specialized techniques and points in micro acupuncture that has been proven to help patients with conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa, diabetic retinopathy and many other eye conditions.
With her specialty in acupuncture for pain management, orthopedics and internal conditions, Dr. Blazek is able to help patients get through acute and chronic issues that otherwise seem relentless.
Kathleen is educated in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and basic CPR and first aid. Kathleen received her undergraduate degree as a Respiratory Therapist. Her experience as a Respiratory Therapist was working for hospitals in the Colorado Springs area in emergency care, adult critical care, pediatrics and neonatal.
On a more personal note, Kathleen graduated high school from Widefield High in Colorado Springs and has lived in Colorado Springs most of her life. She is the mother of two daughters, a grandmother of six grandchildren, one grandson who is attending CTU for computer tech, one grandson who is in the US Marine Corps, one grandson who is in Chinese and Mandarin Studies at CU Boulder, a granddaughter who is attending high school and who has hopes to attend Baylor University in Texas to study medicine, and finally, two grandsons who attend elementary school.
She also has several serious hobbies including photography and traveling.

Jennah Black is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine.
Jennah has extensive experience and knowledge in the fields of Traditional Chinese Herbal Therapy, Traditional Chinese Nutrition as well as training in Somatic Touch for PTSD as well as Abdominal Acupuncture for pain.
Jennah recently worked at Fort Carson’s Evans Army Community Hospital Pain Clinic, treating active-duty military service members. During her time at Evans, Jennah did extensive work in addressing a wide array of conditions, including digestive disorders, chronic fatigue, PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, pain and stress.
In Jennah's free time, you will find her mountain biking all the trails, crocheting and knitting as well as spending time with her beloved family of 3.

Erika is a Colorado Spring's native. She came to Point Balance with an extensive background in project management and administration. Erika is the Office Manager,Receptionist/Scheduler and biller.
Erika is also a licensed massage therapist who does whole body massage, prenatal massage, cupping and Raindrop Therapy.
Erika has lived in Colorado Springs her whole life and is the mother of two boys, 21 years old and 18 years old.
Erika is an avid Broncos fan, and she too isn't afraid to wear their team colors on game day.
