DID YOU KNOW?

Acupuncture is a method of restoring, and preserving, the natural flow of blood in the body. By inserting fine, sterile needles at specific points in the body which moves stagnant areas or blockages. Blockages can be re-routed, untangled, cleaned up, and the vital blood and nutrients can begin to once again nourish the afflicted parts of the body. Once the initial cause is corrected, the body naturally begins to heal on much deeper levels, which can eventually solve the root problem of chronic pain, for good.

Whether it’s physical health, emotional well being or quality of life improvement, our Colorado Springs based Acupuncture, Functional and Alternative Medicine clinic can help you reach and accomplish your goals.  We can help you manage a spectrum of digestive issues, including, but not limited to IBS, acid reflux, heart burn, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, bloating and gas.

Seasonal allergies, asthma, hay fever, chronic sinus congestion, and digestive problems can all stem from underlying allergies. Acupuncture, nutrition and Chinese herbs help regulate the immune system and relieve these problems.

Acupuncture is great at treating anxiety, depression, stress and other emotional issues. In fact, it's so good at it, that relieving stress is almost a side-effect of acupuncture in general. Even if that's not the primary symptom you are seeking relief for, you will notice an improvement in your mood and stress levels after each treatment.

Acupuncture helps to regulate the parasympathetic nervous system by regulating the Vagus nerve. It gets you out of fight-or-flight mode, and helps balance the adrenals and hormones.

Fatigue and low energy levels can stem from a variety of causes. We will try to figure out the root of the problem so we can address the cause. Sometimes it can be due to poor digestion and diet, other times it may be emotions, stress and adrenal-fatigue, or insomnia and/or a hormone imbalance.

Acupuncture can give you more energy and correct the underlying cause of fatigue. There is no blanket cure for any one disease or disorder, according to Chinese Medicine. That’s why we take the time to sit down with each patient and listen to your specific symptoms and complaints. We follow up and adjust the treatment program as time goes by.
